The purpose behind the practice
When your rights, work or business are at stake, the next step matters.
We Defend EU – Diaspora brings a European perspective to civil rights and cross-border disputes. We begin by understanding your objective, examining the available evidence and defining the support your matter requires.
For individuals, that starts with a dedicated consultation. For businesses and legal teams, it begins with a commercial assessment and an agreed scope of work.

Preparation. Perspective. Purpose.
Sandor-Laszlo Pal, founder of We Defend EU – Diaspora, has led the practice since February 2017. He brings seven years of procedural drafting to an approach grounded in research, organised evidence and clearly defined responsibilities.
Every engagement begins with the relevant jurisdictions, the work required and the appropriate professional role. The scope, timetable and fees are agreed before substantive work begins.

Cross-border disputes. Human rights. Clear next steps.

Seven years of procedural drafting informs a practice centred on clear questions, organised evidence and defined responsibilities.
Sandor-Laszlo Pal is the founder of We Defend EU – Diaspora and has led the practice since February 2017. He works across research, drafting and case preparation, with attention to the legal systems and commercial or personal circumstances involved. The starting point is to establish the objective, the relevant jurisdictions, the available material and the work that can properly be undertaken.
For businesses and instructing firms, assignments may include pre-arbitration assessment, contract risk review, tribunal drafting, mediation preparation and coordinated workstreams. Deliverables, review responsibilities, timetable and fees are agreed before substantive work begins.
Where a matter requires local-law advice, court representation or another specialist role, the appropriate professional, authorisation and scope are confirmed for that engagement.
Primary consultation language: English.
Also available: Romanian, Hungarian and Italian.
